Mix more than a bit of British Invasion with a dose of good ol' American Rock and Pop sensibility, and you get Rockford IL's very own Cheap Trick. Mix four guys who share a love of every 'Trick song in the book and you have "The Dream Police"... the Midwest's Premiere Cheap Trick Tribute act! Combining the look and feel of this complex band, The Dream Police compile a 29 year musical history of one of Rock's most versatile and "American" bands and turn it into a celebration of hooks, attitude and being "live at Budokan". Scotty J.'s comic-book looks, onstage antics and massive authentic guitar collection also make for a very convincing "Rick Nielsen". The Dream Police have even had the honor of being joined several times by Cheap Trick's very own Rick Neilsen and Bun E. Carlos during live performances. So, forget what kind of day or week you've had... it's time to get out, party and feel good. But first, The Dream Police want to know... "Are You Ready to Rock?"

Known as "The Man of a Thousand Voices", Robin Zander is a truly remarkable vocalist. The Dream Police is proud to present Keith Jakresky as "Robin", a versatile and powerful singer whose vocals demonstrate his amazing ability to go from moving ballads such as "The Flame" right into "in-your-face" rockers like "Hot Love" and Cheap Trick standards "Surrender" and "I Want You to Want Me". Keith's charismatic onstage persona maintains the look, sound and feel of a real Cheap Trick concert, much to the delight of the audiences!

As the cartoon-like Rick Nielsen, Scotty J. is instantly recognizable as he portrays the guitarist of Cheap Trick - complete with his multitude of guitars, Rick's trademark baseball cap, shades and bow tie. Scott has taken great pains to re-create many of the same one-of-a-kind guitars that Rick himself uses onstage so that the illusion is complete. But let's not forget that he is a fantastic guitar player in his own right, able to perfectly duplicate each one of Cheap Trick's songs with the same sheer energy and craziness that has made Rick Nielsen a household name among guitar players and Cheap Trick fans around the world! Besides joining The Dream Police several times onstage to jam, Rick Nielsen has even shown his appreciation to Scotty J. by thanking him in his guitar collection book "Guitars of the Stars Vol. 1'" Quite an honor from Scotty J.'s guitar hero!

When it comes to looking ultra-cool while at the same time blasting out thunderous 12-string bass lines, Cheap Trick's Tom Petersson is the man. So is The Dream Police's Mario Massi. Between his Hamer 12 string bass and Gibson Thunderbird bass, Mario plays like a velvet hammer - smooth yet aggressive and absolutely perfect for holding down the bottom end of each and every Cheap Trick song. From earth-shaking bass solos to singing to the girls in the front rows, Mario knows how to be cool with a hot bass.

Holding down the beat for Cheap Trick (with the ever-present cigarette in his mouth), Bun E. Carlos rates as one of Rock's most underrated drummers. The Dream Police have their very own "Bun E." in the form of Paul Sobczak. He's a powerful drummer and a natural talent for maintaining the beat for Cheap Trick songs ranging from quiet to chaotic and everything in between!
